Utilizing a qualitative approach with interviews conducted with active female trader informants, the study analyzed data using the Symbolic Interactionism perspective to observe how the meaning of self is shaped through social interaction, market experience, and the symbols embedded in trading practice. The research findings indicate that the self-image of women as traders is formed through a process of reflection and market experience. The informants underwent an identity transformation, moving from being initially wasteful, fearful, or novice, to becoming individuals who are more confident, capable of managing finances, and more rational in making decisions. The experience of profit, loss, and risk management became important symbols that reinforced the identity of a competent trader. The profound meaning of being a female trader relates to financial independence, self-control, and the ability to manage emotions. Trading is understood as a learning space that teaches money management, patience, and the ability to handle volatility, which in turn contributes to increased capacity and self-esteem. Interaction with the social environment is a crucial arena for forming this meaning. The study also found that gender stereotypes and social challenges emerged in various forms. However, the informants responded to these stereotypes through different strategies: by explaining the positive aspects of trading, demonstrating their competence, or choosing to remain calm and focus on independent.. This process demonstrates how the meaning of being a female trader is shaped not only by personal experience but also by the surrounding social response.</mods:abstract><mods:classification authority="lcc">Communication (General)</mods:classification><mods:originInfo><mods:dateIssued encoding="iso8061">2026</mods:dateIssued></mods:originInfo><mods:originInfo><mods:publisher>UNIVERSITAS SULTAN AGENG TIRTAYASA;ILMU KOMUNIKASI</mods:publisher></mods:originInfo><mods:genre>Thesis</mods:genre></mets:xmlData></mets:mdWrap></mets:dmdSec><mets:amdSec ID="TMD_eprint_57367"><mets:rightsMD ID="rights_eprint_57367_mods"><mets:mdWrap MDTYPE="MODS"><mets:xmlData><mods:useAndReproduction>
