description: Background : Level of knowledge and prevention behavior of gastritis in students is one of the inhibitory factors in controlling gastritis disease. Bingo game-based education can be an effective effort to improve preventive knowledge and behavior in decreasing gastritis prevalence. Objective : To determine the effect of bingo game-based education on students' gastritis prevention knowledge and behavior at SMAN 5 Cilegon City. Method : Pre-experimental quantitative  research using the one group pretest-posttest approach. The study’s population was 792 students. The sampling method used was probability sampling with a simple random sampling technique with a sample 94 respondents. The instruments using bingo game activity guide, observation sheet, and two pretest and posttest questionnaires. Data analysis uses Wilcoxon signed rank test. Results : Respondents to this study were generally early teens (15-17 years old) with the majority of woman. The level of knowledge and prevention behavior of gastritis increased after the bingo game-based educational intervention, wich was previously in the moderate category became a good category. Conclusion : Bingo game-based education has an effect on improving students’ gastritis knowledge and prevention behavior at SMAN 5 Cilegon City (p value of 0,000 ).
