"This undergraduate thesis examines of Pair-Work strategy in teaching \r\nprocedural texts to improve the speaking skills of MTsS Al-Muttaqin ninth-grade\r\n students. The study aimed to determine whether the use of paired exercises had a \r\nsignificant impact on the oral skills of MTsS Al-Muttaqin ninth-grade students when \r\nlearning procedural text materials. The researcher adopted a quantitative research \r\nmethod with a quasi experimental design and a non-equivalent control group. The \r\nsample included two classes: Class IX.A as the experimental group and Class IX.C \r\nas the control group, with 26 students in each class. The research instruments included \r\na pre-test and a post-test, which required students to create a procedural text on how \r\nsomething can be operated or made. The data collected from the students' test results \r\nwere analyzed using IBM SPSS 27. The analysis included validity, reliability, \r\nnormality, and homogeneity tests, hypothesis testing, and t-tests with effect size \r\nmeasurements. The hypothesis test results indicated that the t-test value was greater \r\nthan the t-table value (5.933 > 2.00), leading to the rejection of the null hypothesis \r\nand acceptance of the alternative hypothesis. In conclusion, the Pair-Work strategy \r\nwas influential in improving students' speaking skills in the ninth grade at MTsS Al-\r\nMuttaqin.
