note: Perjalanan lintas waktu telah mempengaruhi kesejahteraan, kenyamanan, dan 
kerukunan Gereja Katolik terhadap jemaat yang melaksanakan ibadah. Catatan 
sejarah penerapan perbaikan revitalisasi yang signifikan dalam bentuk improvisasi 
interior dan eksterior dimulai dengan semua jemaat yang beribadah, menyambut 
kedatangan Tubuh dan Darah Kristus. Gereja Katolik Paroki Hati Santa Perawan 
Maria Tak Bernoda adalah Paroki Gereja Katolik pertama yang berada di Kota 
Tangerang, Banten, setelah perluasan dari Vikariat Apostolik Batavia yang 
sekarang dikenal sebagai “Keuskupan Agung Jakarta”. Studi mengkaji dari 
dinamika historis dari latar belakang pendirian dan perkembangan serta pengaruh
sosial kemasyarakatan dari Gereja Katolik Paroki Hati Santa Perawan Maria Tak 
Bernoda di Kota Tangerang, dalam rentang waktu 2013 - 2022. Melalui analisis
historis yang komprehensif, penelitian telah menemukan bahwa institusi 
keagamaan memainkan peran signifikan dalam mempromosikan kohesi sosial dan 
meningkatkan kualitas hidup jemaat. Temuan penelitian menujukkan bahwa gereja 
katolik telah menginisiasi berbagai program yang konstruktif, sehingga 
memperkuat kohesi sosial antara komunitas keagamaan yang berbeda dan 
memfasilitasi pertumbuhan spiritual dari para jemaat.
abstract: The journey across time has affected the welfare, comfort, and harmony of the 
Catholic Church towards the congregation that carries out worship. Historical 
records indicate that significant revitalization improvements, including interior 
and exterior enhancements, began with the congregations that worshipped, 
welcoming the coming of the Body and Blood of Christ. The Catholic Church of the 
Immaculate Heart of the Virgin Mary Parish is the first Catholic Church Parish 
located in Tangerang City, Banten, after the expansion of the Apostolic Vicariate 
of Batavia, which is now known as the “Archdiocese of Jakarta”. This study 
examines the historical dynamics of the background, establishment, development, 
and socio-community influence of the Immaculate Heart of the Virgin Mary 
Catholic Parish in Tangerang City, from 2013 through 2022. Through 
comprehensive historical analysis, the research has found that the religious 
institution plays a significant role in promoting social cohesion and improving the 
quality of life of the congregation. The research findings show that the Catholic 
Church has initiated various constructive programs, thereby strengthening social 
cohesion between different religious communities and facilitating the spiritual 
growth of the congregation."
