TY - THES A1 - Rusdiana, Dadang N2 - This study explains the implementation of good governance principles in public services at the Balaraja District Office, Tangerang Regency. The principles studied include accountability, transparency, participation, and the rule of law. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the Balaraja District Office has implemented the principles of good governance quite well, especially in the aspects of accountability and transparency, which are reflected in the increasing public trust in public services. However, there are still several obstacles, such as limited human resources, suboptimal infrastructure, and lack of service officer skills. Improvement efforts continue to be made through training, increasing internal coordination, and providing supporting service facilities. The conclusion of this study is that the implementation of good governance principles at the Balaraja District Office contributes positively to the quality of public services, although further efforts are needed to overcome existing obstacles in order to realize effective, efficient, and satisfaction-oriented services. Keywords: good governance, public services, Balaraja District N1 - Penelitian ini menjelaskan implementasi prinsip-prinsip good governance dalam pelayanan publik di Kantor Kecamatan Balaraja, Kabupaten Tangerang. Prinsip- prinsip yang diteliti mencakup akuntabilitas, transparansi, partisipasi, dan supremasi hukum. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Kantor Kecamatan Balaraja telah menerapkan prinsip-prinsip good governance secara cukup baik, terutama dalam aspek akuntabilitas dan transparansi, yang tercermin dari meningkatnya kepercayaan masyarakat terhadap layanan publik. Namun, masih terdapat beberapa hambatan, seperti keterbatasan sumber daya manusia, sarana prasarana yang belum optimal, dan kurangnya keterampilan petugas pelayanan. Upaya perbaikan terus dilakukan melalui pelatihan, peningkatan koordinasi internal, serta penyediaan fasilitas pendukung pelayanan. Kesimpulan dari penelilitan ini adalah penerapan prinsip- prinsip good governance di Kantor Kecamatan Balaraja berkontribusi positif terhadap kualitas pelayanan publik, meskipun diperlukan upaya lanjutan untuk mengatasi kendala yang ada guna mewujudkan pelayanan yang efektif, efisien, dan berorientasi pada kepuasan masyarakat.
