"This study aims to determine the attitudes of the local community after the \r\nrevitalisation of the Situ Cipondoh tourist attraction in Tangerang City and to \r\nanalyse the strategies employed by the community in responding to social and \r\neconomic changes following the revitalisation. This study uses a descriptive \r\nqualitative approach, with data collection techniques including observation, in\r\ndepth interviews, and documentation. Research informants were selected using \r\npurposive sampling techniques involving the local community, tourism \r\nmanagement organisations, and government representatives. \r\nThe results of the study indicate that the community's attitude towards the \r\nrevitalisation of the tourist area is in the Euphoria and Apathy phases of Doxey \r\nIrridex's theory. In the Euphoria phase, the community shows high enthusiasm for \r\nchanges in the area, as seen in increased participation in maintaining cleanliness \r\nand environmental management and the emergence of new businesses around the \r\ntourist area. Entering the Apathy phase, the community begins to view tourist \r\nactivities as part of their daily lives without resistance to the presence of tourists. \r\nThere were no indications of negative attitudes (Annoyance and Antagonism) in the \r\ncommunity's interactions with tourists. In addition, the community also \r\nimplemented various survival strategies, such as taking advantage of economic \r\nopportunities from the tourism sector, adapting to new patterns of social \r\ninteraction, and developing collective awareness in preserving the area.
