description: This study aims to determine the attitudes of the local community after the   revitalisation of the Situ Cipondoh tourist attraction in Tangerang City and to   analyse the strategies employed by the community in responding to social and   economic changes following the revitalisation. This study uses a descriptive   qualitative approach, with data collection techniques including observation, in  depth interviews, and documentation. Research informants were selected using   purposive sampling techniques involving the local community, tourism   management organisations, and government representatives.   The results of the study indicate that the community's attitude towards the   revitalisation of the tourist area is in the Euphoria and Apathy phases of Doxey   Irridex's theory. In the Euphoria phase, the community shows high enthusiasm for   changes in the area, as seen in increased participation in maintaining cleanliness   and environmental management and the emergence of new businesses around the   tourist area. Entering the Apathy phase, the community begins to view tourist   activities as part of their daily lives without resistance to the presence of tourists.   There were no indications of negative attitudes (Annoyance and Antagonism) in the   community's interactions with tourists. In addition, the community also   implemented various survival strategies, such as taking advantage of economic   opportunities from the tourism sector, adapting to new patterns of social   interaction, and developing collective awareness in preserving the area. These   findings indicate that revitalisation has a positive impact on the community's   welfare while strengthening their role in the sustainability of tourism.
