Asphalt Concrete Wearing Course (AC-WC) is a rapidly developing type of asphalt made from a mixture of bitumen asphalt, filler, and mineral aggregates, placed on the road surface. Understanding the importance of further processing of waste tires, waste tire powder will be used as an additive material in the asphalt mixture. This study discusses the effect of adding waste tire powder as filler in Asphalt Concrete Wearing Course (AC-WC) using elastomer polymer-modified asphalt PG 70. The objective is to determine the characteristics of the effect of using tire powder filler on the AC-WC mixture with polymer-modified asphalt and to analyze the influence of asphalt strength on the Marshall characteristics with tire powder filler at variations of 0%, 3%, 6%, and 9%. The asphalt concrete test specimens were made with planned asphalt content of 4.5%, 5.0%, 5.5%, 6.0%, and 6.5%, with three specimens for each variation. The results show that the stability value at optimum asphalt content with replacement of filler by waste tire powder is 1205.56 kg, which is higher than the stability value of asphalt concrete without filler replacement of 1043.72 kg.
