description: This study aims to determine the effect of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model  on senior high school students’ mathematical reflective thinking ability in terms of  their level of self-efficacy. The background of this research stems from the low level  of students' mathematical reflective thinking ability.  This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Ciruas. The method used was a  quasi-experimental design with a 3×2 factorial format. The sampling technique  employed was cluster random sampling. The instruments used in this study included  a mathematical reflective thinking ability test and a self efficacy questionnaire.  Data analysis was conducted using two-way anova to examine the effects of each  variable and their interaction.  The results of the study indicate that: (1) there is a significant difference in  mathematical reflective thinking ability between students taught using the PBL  model and those taught using the Discovery Learning model; (2) students with high  self-efficacy demonstrated better reflective thinking ability compared to those with  moderate and low self-efficacy; and (3) there is no interaction between the learning  model and students’ self-efficacy levels on their mathematical reflective thinking  ability.
