This research aims to find out the types of questions that teachers use in English learning in grade 8 of SMPN 20 Serang. The subjects in this study were English teacher and 8th grade students of SMPN 20 Serang. Data collection techniques that researcher used are observation and interview. The instruments of this research are observation sheet, interview guideline, and audio recording. The researcher used miles and Huberman theory to analyze the data, namely data reduction, data display, drawing conclusion, and verification. The results of this study based on Bloom's taxonomy revised, the type of question that teacher often used in learning English is remembering question. Remembering question is one of the questions that fall into the category of lower-level questions along with understanding question and applying question.
