The method used is quantitative with a quasi- experimental design of the non-equivalent control group type. The sample was randomly selected, with class X.1 as the experimental group and X.2 as the control group at SMA Negeri 1 Pontang. The main instrument is a science literacy essay test covering aspects of process, content, context, and attitude, supported by non- test data through interviews, observations, and learning implementation sheets. Hypothesis testing using the independent sample t-test shows a p-value of 0.017 (< 0.05), meaning there is a significant difference between the two classes. The experimental class obtained higher scores in all aspects of science literacy, with the highest scores in the science attitude aspect and the lowest in the science process aspect.
