"This study aims to examine the influence of Perceived Organizational Support\r\n(POS) and Self-Efficacy on employee performance, with Employee Engagement as\r\na moderating variable, at a petrochemical company in Cilegon. The research uses\r\na quantitative method, collecting data through online questionnaires completed by\r\n166 respondents. Data were analyzed using SPSS 26 for non-response testing and\r\nSmartPLS version 4 for hypothesis testing. The results show that POS has a positive\r\nand significant effect on employee performance (coefficient = 0.694; p = 0.000), as\r\ndoes Self-Efficacy (coefficient = 0.169; p = 0.001). Employee Engagement does not\r\nsignificantly moderate the relationship between POS and employee performance (p\r\n= 0.779), but it significantly moderates the relationship between Self-Efficacy and\r\nemployee performance (coefficient = 0.103; p = 0.039). In conclusion, perceived\r\norganizational support and employee self-confidence positively contribute to\r\nperformance improvement. Furthermore, employee engagement strengthens the\r\ninfluence of self-efficacy on performance, whereas the effect of POS on\r\nperformance occurs directly regardless of the level of employee engagement.
