description: This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the Cash Assistance Program of the Family Hope Program (PKH) in empowering beneficiary families (KPM) in Talaga Village, Cikupa District, Tangerang Regency. The objective of this research is to assess the extent to which the PKH cash assistance program contributes to the social and economic empowerment of KPM, to analyze the implementation process in the field, and to identify the obstacles and challenges encountered throughout its execution. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach, utilizing data collection techniques such as observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The research subjects consist of KPM beneficiaries, PKH facilitators, and other relevant stakeholders. The findings indicate that the PKH program has had a positive impact on improving access to education and healthcare services for poor families, with most beneficiaries able to enroll their children in school and access regular health check-ups. However, the program's effectiveness has not yet reached its full potential, as some beneficiaries misuse the funds for non-priority consumptive needs that are inconsistent with the program’s core objectives. Additional challenges identified include a lack of understanding among KPM regarding the program’s purpose, and insufficient facilitation and socialization by implementing parties. Furthermore, the program has not yet fully succeeded in fostering the economic independence of KPM, resulting in continued dependence on government assistance. Therefore, this study recommends strengthening the capacity of KPM through entrepreneurship training, as well as enhancing program monitoring and evaluation systems to ensure that cash assistance not only serves a charitable function but also contributes to long-term self-sufficiency
