description: This research was motivated by the difficulties experienced by first-grade students with hearing impairments at SDKh in mastering vocabulary related to objects due to limitations in receiving verbal information. The aim of this study is to determine the effectiveness of interactive media in improving vocabulary acquisition among children with hearing impairments at SKh Negeri 01 Kota Serang. Based on observations and interviews, it was found that the children still faced challenges in recognizing the names of objects in their surroundings and required additional reinforcement to use them in learning activities. This study employed an experimental method with a One Group Pre-Test Post-Test design, involving three children with hearing impairments as subjects. The interactive media used consisted of a learning application featuring pictures, guessing games, word-building activities, and matching words with images. Data were collected through pre-tests and post-tests to assess the children’s ability to identify, name, and write vocabulary items. The Wilcoxon test results showed a significant improvement after the intervention. Interactive media proved to be effective in helping children better understand and remember vocabulary through engaging visuals and enjoyable activities.
