Peneliti menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan menerapkan desain eksperimen yang sebenarnya untuk melakukan Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas sebelas SMK INFORMATIKA Sampel penelitian ini dipilih berdasarkan cluster random pengambilan sampel. Kelompok-kelompok tersebut dimasukkan ke dalam kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Masing-masing Kelompok ini terdiri dari 30 siswa. Tes awal diberikan kepada kelompok di awal dari fase tersebut. Kemudian perlakuan hanya diberikan kepada kelompok eksperimen selama dua pertemuan. Untuk mengetahui peningkatannya, kelompok diberikan post-test. Peneliti menggunakan validitas isi dan reliabilitas antar penilai untuk membuat kesimpulan. abstract: This research aimed to determine the effectiveness Cake Application on students speaking skills at the eleven grade of SMK INFORMATIKA. The researcher use quantitative research by applying a true experimental design for conducting the research. The population of this research was eleven-grade students of SMK INFORMATIKA The sample of this research was chosen based on cluster random sampling. The groups were put into experimental group and control group. Each group consists of 30 students. A pre-test was given to the groups at the beginning of the phase. Then the treatment was given only to experimental group for two meetings. To find the improvement, post-test was given to the groups.The researcher used content validity and inter-rater reliability in order to make the instruments valid and reliable.
