description: The purpose of this study was to determine how the implementation of school culture in instilling the character of students of SMP Negeri 1 Kota Serang. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach to describe the problems and focus of the study with data collection conducted through observation, interviews, and documentation. Based on the results of the study, it is known that the implementation of school culture in instilling the character of students of SMP Negeri 1 Kota Serang regarding the implementation of schools and character instillation in the implementation of SMP Negeri 1 Kota Serang schools is carried out well and every day becomes a good habit of schools with character so that good character is embedded in students. The supporting and inhibiting factors that occur include, adequate facilities and infrastructure but need in terms of novel reading books, they students still understand but there are some students who are not yet in accordance so they must continue to be, understand there are still some who have not synergized but need to be with each other fellow educators and most parents understand and support the implementation of schools but there are still some who are not in accordance so they need to be reminded continuously by educators.
