description: This research is motivated by the findings of low understanding of menstrual hygiene management in female students with intellectual disabilities at SKh Pelangi Anakku. Although the school already has a self-development program, the students have never received learning about menstrual hygiene. This study aims to develop a related learning media in the form of Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM) Smartbook that is tailored to the needs of students. The method used in this study is an exploratory mixed method with qualitative data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation. While quantitative data were obtained through media trials with a one group pre-test post-test desiibility criteria after being validated by experts. The Wilcoxon test shows a Tcount value = 15 and Ttable = 0 at a significance level of 0.5 with N = 5, so H0 is rejected. Thus, the MHM Smartbook media has the potential to be effective in improving the understanding of menstrual hygiene management of female students with intellectual disabilities.
