description: Farmer groups have an important role in improving the welfare of farming families,   especially in rural areas that rely on the agricultural sector as the main source of   livelihood. However, there are still many farmer groups that are not optimal in   carrying out their functions institutionally and economically. This study aims to   find out how the strategy of strengthening the horticultural farmer pearl group in   improving family welfare in Cimenteng Jaya Village, Cibadak District, Lebak   Regency, Banten Province. The research uses a qualitative approach with a   descriptive qualitative research type. Data was collected through interviews, field   observations and documentation involving the chairman and members of the   Mutiara Tani Group. Data analysis is carried out through the stages of data   collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawn. The validity of   the data was obtained through triangulation. The results of the study show that (1)   The strategy of strengthening the farmer pearl group is carried out through the role   of the group as a learning class, a forum for cooperation and a production unit.   The strategy is manifested in the form of regular meetings, establishing   partnerships with agencies such as the Agriculture Office and Bank Indonesia for   training and assistance, conducting mutual cooperation during planting and   harvesting, and managing farming collectively through direct and online   marketing, savings and loans, and joint fertilizer purchases, (2) The results of the   group strengthening strategy have been proven to have a positive impact on family   welfare, This can be seen from the increase in members' income which allows the   fulfillment of daily needs, household expenses become more planned, living   conditions have improved, the ability to access health services more easily and   members feel the convenience of financing children's education.
