High schools description: This research is motivated by the low ability of mathematical reflective thinking, declining character and cultural values in students. One solution to improve students' mathematical reflective thinking ability is to use a metacognitive scaffolding approach, while to improve the value of character and local culture in students, one of which is to use student worksheets (LKPD) based on character and local culture. This study aims to determine the final achievement of mathematical reflective thinking ability and students' responses to learning using metacognitive scaffolding based on character and local culture. This research is a quantitative study with a quasi-experimental form with a non-equivalent control group design. The population of this study was all students of class X of SMA Negeri 6 Kota Serang with samples of class X 8 (experimental class) and X 9 (control class), using a purposive sampling technique. The research instrument used was a mathematical reflective thinking ability test instrument. The data analysis used was descriptive statistics and inferential statistics.
