The method used in this study is Quasy Experimental, with a sampling technique of non-probability sampling. The sample in this study was XI.6 as many as 36 students as an experimental class using the Problem Based Learning learning model with YouTube video media and XI.7 as many as 36 students as a control class using the Discovery Learning model. The test instrument used was in the form of a description with a total of 10 questions. Based on the results of data analysis, there is an effect of using the Problem Based Learning learning model with YouTube video media on students' critical thinking skills as evidenced by hypothesis testing through a two-party t-test which shows t_count (3.446) ≥ t_((table)) (1.994) with delta = 0.05 so that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. By applying the Problem Based Learning model to History subjects, students will be encouraged to work together in groups to solve problems together. YouTube, as a video platform, can be utilized to support discussions in solving these problems.
