Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Quasi Experimental. Desain penelitian yang digunakan yaitu pretest-posttest nonequivalent control group design. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X SMAN 1 Cikande sedangkan sampel yang dipilih yaitu kelas X C sebagai kelas kontrol dan kelas X J sebagai kelas eksperimen. Pemilihan sampel menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan soal pretest dan posttest, lembar wawancara dengan guru, serta lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran. Teknik pengolahan data yang dilakukan terdiri atas uji normalitas yang menggunakan uji Shapiro-Wilk, uji homogenitas yang menggunakan uji Levene, dan uji hipotesis dengan menggunakan uji Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata posttest pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 69,00 lebih besar dari nilai rata-rata posttest kelas kontrol sebesar 60,67. Selain itu, berdasarkan uji hipotesis juga menunjukkan nilai signifikansi 0,00 < 0,05, maka H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat efektivitas penggunaan model RBL terdapat kemampuan literasi sains siswa SMA pada materi virus. Model RBL memungkinkan dapat diterapkan di beberapa SMA di Banten pada materi virus. abstract: This study was conducted to determine the effectiveness of the using the Resource Based Learning (RBL) model on the scientific literacy skills of high school students on the Virus material implemented at SMAN 1 Cikande. The research method used is quasi-experimental. The research design used is the pretest-posttest nonequivalent control group design. The population in this study was all students of class X SMAN 1 Cikande, while the selected samples were class X C as the control class and class X J as the experimental class. The sample selection used a simple random sampling technique. Data collection in this study used pretest and posttest questions, interview sheets with teachers, and observation sheets to implement learning. The data processing techniques used consisted of a normality test using the Shapiro-Wilk test, a homogeneity test using the Levene test, and a hypothesis test using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. The results showed that the average posttest score in the experimental class was 69.00, greater than the average posttest score in the control class of 60.67. In addition, the hypothesis test also shows a significance value of 0.00 <0.05, then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, so it can be concluded that using the RBL model in the scientific literacy abilities of high school students on virus material is effective.
