This research presents a smart home security system that integrates RFID modules, ultrasonic sensors, alarms, and LoRa communication. The system was tested for RFID authentication, intrusion detection, alarm activation, and remote alert transmission. RFID testing showed that registered cards (IDs 231de4ee and 36e6efa) were successfully recognized, with reading success rates of 75\% (up to 2 cm) and 25\% (only at 0 cm), respectively. Unregistered cards (ID 89c4973f) were detected at close range but rejected by the system, confirming accurate ID validation. The ultrasonic sensor consistently triggered alarms starting from a 27 cm distance down to 9 cm, with LoRa successfully transmitting security alerts to the monitoring post and displaying the address on an LCD screen. The system also automatically opened the gate upon valid RFID detection, demonstrating proper integration with a stepper motor and limit switch. LoRa communication was effective up to 70 meters, with a success rate of 60\%, but signal quality dropped in obstructed areas. The RFID reading response time averaged below 0.3 seconds, and LoRa transmission latency remained under 10 seconds. In conclusion, the system successfully detects intrusion, accurately identifies authorized users, and reliably delivers real-time alerts to security personnel. These findings demonstrate that the proposed IoT-based home security system is functional, reliable, and applicable for enhancing residential safety.
