N1  - Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya kemampuan numerasi sebagai fondasi dalam menghadapi tantangan kehidupan sehari-hari serta peran self-efficacy dalam meningkatkan kepercayaan diri siswa dalam belajar matematika. Namun, kenyataan di lapangan menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan tersebut masih tergolong rendah. Salah satu materi yang dipelajari dalam bidang matematika adalah statistika. Banyak siswa yang merasa kesulitan dalam memecahkan masalah matematika pada materi tersebut dikarenakan pembelajarannya bersifat abstrak. Sehingga, diperlukan model pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan numerasi dan self-efficacy siswa. Model Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) adalah salah satu model pembelajaran inovatif yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan numerasi dan self-efficacy. Dengan adanya penggunaan media video animasi memudahkan siswa untuk memahami materi yang bersifat abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran RME dengan video animasi terhadap kemampuan numerasi dan self-efficacy siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah quasi experiment dengan desain non-equivalent control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Yaspih Rajeg tahun ajaran 2024/2025. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik purposive sampling dan terpilih kelas VIII 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan VIII 2 sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah instrumen tes kemampuan numerasi dan angket self-efficacy. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata kemampuan akhir numerasi dan self-efficacy siswa kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi daripada kelas kontrol. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif pembelajaran RME dengan video animasi terhadap kemampuan numerasi dan self-efficacy siswa.

N2  - This study is motivated by the importance of numeracy skills as a foundation in facing the challenges of everyday life and the role of self-efficacy in increasing students' confidence in learning mathematics. However, the reality in the field shows that these abilities are still relatively low. One of the materials studied in the field of mathematics is statistics. Many students find it difficult to solve math problems in this material because the learning is abstract. So, a learning model that can improve numeracy skills and student self-efficacy is needed. The Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) model is one of the innovative learning models that can improve numeracy and self-efficacy. With the use of animated video media, it is easier for students to understand abstract material. This study aims to determine the effect of RME learning with animated videos on numeracy skills and student self-efficacy. The method used was quasi experiment with non-equivalent control group design. The population in this study were VIII grade students of Yaspih Rajeg Junior High School in the 2024/2025 school year. Sampling was done by purposive sampling technique and VIII 1 class was selected as the experimental class and VIII 2 as the control class. The instruments used in this study were numeracy test instruments and self-efficacy questionnaires. The results showed that the average final numeracy ability and self-efficacy of experimental class students were higher than the average of control class students. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a positive effect of RME learning with animated videos on students' numeracy skills and self-efficacy.
