High schools description: This study is motivated by the importance of numeracy skills as a foundation in facing the challenges of everyday life and the role of self-efficacy in increasing students' confidence in learning mathematics. However, the reality in the field shows that these abilities are still relatively low. One of the materials studied in the field of mathematics is statistics. Many students find it difficult to solve math problems in this material because the learning is abstract. So, a learning model that can improve numeracy skills and student self-efficacy is needed. The Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) model is one of the innovative learning models that can improve numeracy and self-efficacy. With the use of animated video media, it is easier for students to understand abstract material. This study aims to determine the effect of RME learning with animated videos on numeracy skills and student self-efficacy. The method used was quasi experiment with non-equivalent control group design. The population in this study were VIII grade students of Yaspih Rajeg Junior High School in the 2024/2025 school year. Sampling was done by purposive sampling technique and VIII 1 class was selected as the experimental class and VIII 2 as the control class. The instruments used in this study were numeracy test instruments and self-efficacy questionnaires. The results showed that the average final numeracy ability and self-efficacy of experimental class students were higher than the average of control class students.
