description: The management of organic waste in the campus environment into compost as a   nutrient for plants is a manifestation of the green campus movement. This study   aims to determine the effect of campus organic waste compost on the growth of   tomato plants (Solanum lycopersicum) as a recommendation for the content of the   P5 activity project module on the theme of sustainable lifestyle. The study used an   experimental method with a completely randomized design (CRD) research design   with 2 (two) repetitions and consisted of 4 (four) treatment levels. The treatments   consisted of P0- (200 mL of water); P0+ (60 g of instant compost); P1 (60 g of   campus organic waste compost); P2 (80 g of campus organic waste compost) with   6 (six) plant samples each. Campus organic waste compost was fermented for 28   days. Growth parameters were observed for 35 HST including leaf length, leaf   width, number of leaves, stem diameter, plant height, root length, dry weight, wet   weight, and chlorophyll content. The results of the study showed that the macro and   micro nutrient content of organic waste compost fertilizer had met the quality   standards of compost fertilizer and several parameters significantly showed a good   data tendency for tomato plant growth in treatments P1 and P2. The research data   obtained were used as recommendations for the content of the P5 module on the   theme of sustainable lifestyles with an example project being the management of   organic waste with compost fertilizer.
