Utilizing the ADDIE model, the study included five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Initially, the study identified gaps in existing English language materials for midwifery through observations and interviews with students and staff from three health colleges in Banten. This analysis produced digital materials titled "English for Midwifery," incorporating essential midwifery content into the language curriculum. The materials were validated by experts in education and midwifery, ensuring their practicality and relevance. Implementation involved a pilot study with sixty midwifery students, measuring the practicality and effectiveness of the materials through observations, questionnaires, and interviews. Findings showed that the developed application was highly practical and effective for use by midwifery students, with expert validation results showing high scores: media experts (82%), material experts (89%), language experts (92%), and learning experts (100%). Limited trials showed high practicality with a score of 87% from midwifery students and positive responses from lecturers (90%). Extensive trials demonstrated high effectiveness with student satisfaction scores (88%) and positive feedback from lecturers (100%). The scores significantly indicate the potential to transform the English learning experience in health education. This research contributes to integrating technology in language teaching, offering a model that can be adapted to other fields of study. date: 2025 date_type: published pages: 217 institution: UNIVERSITAS SULTAN AGENG TIRTAYASA department: DOKTOR PENDIDIKAN thesis_type: doctoral thesis_name: phd citation: Nuranisa, Nisa (2025) THE DEVELOPMENT OF DIGITAL-BASED ENGLISH FOR MIDWIFERY TEACHING MATERIALS.
