Penelitian bertujuan mengkaji pengaruh workforce diversity, motivasi intrinsik dan ethical leadership terhadap kinerja karyawan dan mengkaji pengaruh moderasi ethical leadership pada hubungan workforce diversity dan motivasi intrinsik terhadap kinerja karyawan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan metode explanatory survey dengan jumlah indikator pada setiap variabelnya adalah 4 indikator. Populasi penelitian adalah karyawan PT Mitsubishi Chemical Indonesia yang berjumlah 270 orang dengan jumlah sampel ditentukan 9 x 16 indikator atau sebanyak 144 sampel secara random sampling. Hasil pengujian hipotesis menunjukan bahwa workforce diversity terbukti berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan; motivasi intrinsik terbukti berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan; ethical leadership terbukti berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan; ethical leadership tidak memoderasi hubungan workforce diversity terhadap kinerja karyawan; dan ethical leadership memoderasi positif hubungan motivasi intrinsik terhadap kinerja karyawan. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa ethical leadership berperan sebagai variabel moderasi yang memperkuat hubungan motivasi intrinsik dalam meningkatkan kinerja karyawan. abstract: This study identifies workforce diversity and intrinsic motivation as factors presumed to influence employee performance in a chemical industry company, with the inclusion of ethical leadership as a moderating variable. The objective of this research is to examine the influence of workforce diversity, intrinsic motivation, and ethical leadership on employee performance, as well as the moderating effect of ethical leadership on the relationship between workforce diversity and intrinsic motivation with employee performance. This study uses an explanatory survey approach. Each variable is measured by four indicators. The population consists of 270 employees of PT Mitsubishi Chemical Indonesia, with the sample size determined as 9 times 16 indicators, resulting in 144 randomly selected respondents. The hypothesis testing results indicate that workforce diversity has a positive and significant effect on employee performance; intrinsic motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance; ethical leadership also has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. However, ethical leadership does not moderate the relationship between workforce diversity and employee performance, but it positively moderates the relationship between intrinsic motivation and employee performance.
