The study was conducted from December 2024 to April 2025 at the Plant Physiology and Biotechnology Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University. A factorial Randomized Block Design was used, consisting of two factors: BAP concentrations (0, 1, 2, and 3 mg/L) and mung bean sprout extract concentrations (0, 25, 50, and 75 g/l). The parameters observed were shoot emergence time (weeks after planting/WAP), plant height (cm), number of leaves (leaves), number of shoots, percentage of browning, and percentage of contamination. The results showed that BAP had a highly significant effect on shoot emergence time and number of shoots. The fastest shoot emergence occurred with 1 mg/l BAP, while the highest number of shoots was observed at 2–3 mg/l BAP. Mung bean sprout extract had no significant effect on most parameters but significantly affected leaf number at 2 WAP and interacted with BAP in increasing leaf number at 12 WAP. The best combination for leaf number was b3t0 and b2t0.
