Complex role demands make Work Life Balance (WLB) important to support optimal performance. A good balance can increase the emotional and psychological involvement of lecturers in their work or called Employee Engagement, which eventually improves work performance. This study aims to see the influence and significance of Work Life Balance on work performance of lecturers at Engineering Faculty Untirta through Employee Engagement as mediator, and the differences in its influence based on gender. This study uses Structural Equation Modeling Partial Least Square (SEM PLS) method. The results showed that Work Life Balance has positive and significant effect on lecturers’ Work Performance (Path Coefficient = 0.453 and p value = 0.000) and Employee Engagement (Path Coefficient = 0.601 and p value = 0.000). Employee Engagement also has positive and significant effect on lecturers' Work Performance (Path Coefficient = 0.601 and p value = 0.000) and be able to act as a mediator (Path Coefficient = 0.209 and p value = 0.001).
