description: Poverty is a multidimensional problem that occurs in almost all countries, especially in developing countries like Indonesia. If poverty is not addressed immediately, the impact will not only be economic, but can also affect education, health and the quality of community resources. This poverty problem is included in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) point 1. This study aims to determine the effect of economic growth, open unemployment rate, regional spending, human development index and road infrastructure on poverty. The object of this study is Central Java Province which includes 35 regencies/cities in 2018-2022. The research data comes from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS). This study uses a panel data analysis method with a fixed effect model. Based on the results of the study, it is partially shown that regional spending has a negative and significant effect on poverty, the unemployment rate and regional road infrastructure have a positive and significant effect on poverty. While economic growth and the human development index have no effect on poverty. Simultaneously, it shows that economic growth, open unemployment rate, regional spending, human development index and road infrastructure have a significant effect on poverty.
