The research adopts a descriptive qualitative method, with data collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that the behavior of Pertamini gasoline retailers post-SPBU is influenced predominantly by external factors such as SPBU operating hours, consumer behavior, and proximity to SPBU locations. However, internal factors like motivation, principles, beliefs, and personal values also play a significant role. Pertamini retail gasoline traders show adaptive and flexible behavior to maintain their business and this behavior is not only economically but also socially applied to customers or buyers, fellow traders, and suppliers. Honest and correct behavior in serving buyers is one that is highlighted in order to continue to maintain consumer confidence. They also apply the "3 S" principle (Smile, Politeness, and Courtesy) to foster friendly interactions during transactions. Despite competition with SPBU in Umbulan Village, the retailers demonstrate supportive behavior and resilience, remaining optimistic about their ventures. The strategies employed by the retailers include adaptation, goal achievement, integration, and maintaining good relationships.
