Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis karakteristik morfometrik dan pola pertumbuhan B. pectinirostris terhadap parameter lingkungan. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dari Februari hingga Maret 2025. Pengambilan sampel lapangan dan pengukuran kualitas air (suhu, salinitas, dan pH) dilakukan secara in-situ di dua stasiun, sementara identifikasi ikan, pengukuran morfometrik, dan analisis data dilakukan secara ex-situ. Sampel ikan dikumpulkan empat kali per stasiun dengan interval dua minggu menggunakan sekop dan jaring pada sore hari di dalam area transek berukuran 10x10 meter. Analisis data meliputi kelimpahan ikan untuk menentukan spesies dominan, karakteristik morfometrik berdasarkan 23 parameter tubuh ikan, analisis hubungan antara sifat morfometrik dan kualitas air menggunakan PCA (SPSS), serta analisis pola pertumbuhan melalui hubungan panjang-berat dan estimasi parameter pertumbuhan menggunakan metode von Bertalanffy dengan RStudio. Kelimpahan B. pectinirostris tertinggi teramati di Stasiun 2 (72 ind/100 m²), yang menunjukkan kemampuan spesies ini untuk mentoleransi kondisi air yang terkontaminasi sampah. Analisis morfometrik menunjukkan bahwa salinitas memiliki korelasi yang lebih kuat dengan panjang sirip perut pada betina dibandingkan jantan. Pola pertumbuhan B. pectinirostris jantan, betina, dan gabungan jantan-betina bersifat alometrik positif, yang menunjukkan bahwa pertambahan berat badan lebih cepat daripada panjang badan. Data analysis includes fish abundance to determine the dominant species, morphometric characteristics based on 23 fish body parameters, analysis of the relationship between morphometric traits and water quality using PCA (SPSS), as well as growth pattern analysis through length-weight relationships and estimation of growth parameters using the von Bertalanffy method with RStudio. The highest abundance of B. pectinirostris was observed at Station 2 (72 ind/100 m²), indicating this species' ability to tolerate water conditions contaminated by trash. Morphometric analysis showed that salinity had a stronger correlation with pelvic fin length in females than males. The growth pattern of male, female, and combined male-female of B. pectinirostris was positively allometric, indicating that body weight increased faster than body length.
