The National Survey of Indonesian Student Mental Health (2021) revealed that 28.5% of new students experienced anxiety, 22.1% depression, and 10.4% stress. Similarly, the 2024 Needs Assessment Report for Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FKIK) students at Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa (Untirta) found that 1.5% of students reported suicidal ideation and 21.2% experienced bullying. This study aimed to describe the mental health, nutritional status, physical activity, dietary patterns, and sleep patterns of first-year nutrition students (academic year 2024-2025) at Untirta. Furthermore, it sought to analyze the relationships between nutritional status, physical activity, dietary patterns, sleep patterns, and mental health. This research employed an analytical observational design with a cross-sectional approach. The sample consisted of 44 first-year nutrition students (academic year 2024-2025) from Untirta, selected using a total sampling technique. Data was collected through anthropometric measurements (weight and height), and questionnaires including the Mental Health Inventory (MHI-38), Global Physical Activity Questionnaire (GPAQ), Semi Quantitative Food Frequency Questionnaire (SQ-FFQ), and Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI). Data analysis was performed using the chi-square test. The study's findings indicate that the majority of respondents had low mental health (70.5%), normal nutritional status (65.9%), and low physical activity (43.2%). Regarding dietary patterns, a significant proportion showed deficits in fat (40.9%), carbohydrates (36.4%), sodium (77.3%), and sucrose intake (56.8%), while energy and protein intake were mostly excessive (34.1% and 50%, respectively). A large percentage of students also reported poor sleep patterns (63.6%). The study found a significant association between sleep patterns and mental health (p-value: 0.025), but no significant relationship was observed between nutritional status, physical activity, or overall eating patterns and mental health (p-value > 0.05). %Z Kesehatan mental mahasiswa baru perlu diperhatikan karena transisi masa sekolah menuju perkuliahan dapat memicu stres dan masalah kesehatan mental. Survei Nasional Kesehatan Mental Mahasiswa Indonesia tahun 2021, menemukan 28,5% mahasiswa baru mengalami kecemasan, 22,1% depresi, dan 10,4% stres. Begitupun dengan Laporan hasil Analisis Need Assesment mahasiswa FKIK Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa (Untirta) tahun 2024, menemukan 1,5% kasus ingin mengakhiri hidup dan 21,2% kasus bulying pada mahasiswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran kesehatan mental, status gizi, aktivitas fisik, pola makan, dan pola tidur mahasiswa gizi tingkat pertama (angkatan 2024-2025) Untirta, serta menganalisis hubungan antara status gizi, aktivitas fisik, pola makan, dan pola tidur dengan kesehatan mental. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain observasional analitik dengan pendekatan cross-sectional dan sampel adalah mahasiswa Prodi Gizi tingkat pertama (angkatan 2024-2025) Untirta sebanyak 44 orang dengan teknik total sampling. Data dikumpulkan dengan pengukuran antropometri berat dan tinggi badan, kuesioner Mental Health Inventory (MHI-38), Global Physical Activity Questionnare (GPAQ), Semi Quantitative Food Frequency Questionnare (SQ- FFQ), dan Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI). Analisis data dilakukan dengan uji chi square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas responden memiliki kesehatan mental rendah (70,5%), status gizi normal (65,9%), aktivitas fisik rendah (43,2%), pola makan defisit untuk asupan lemak, karbohidrat, natrium, dan sukrosa (40,9%; 36,4%; 77,3%; 56,8%), sedangkan energi dan protein sebagian besar berlebih (34,1%; 50%), serta pola tidur buruk (63,6%). Penelitian ini juga menemukan adanya hubungan antara pola tidur dengan kesehatan mental (p-value: 0,025), namun tidak ada hubungan antara status gizi, aktivitas fisik, dan pola makan dengan kesehatan mental (p-value >0,05).
