Increased production can be achieved through good cultivation practices, including fertilization (organic and mycorrhizal) and appropriate planting media. This research was conducted at the Balai Standardisasi Instrumen Pertanian Banten from October 2024 to January 2025, using a factorial Randomized Block Design (RBD) to test the effect of mycorrhizal fertilizer doses (0, 10, 15, 20 g/plant) and planting media combinations with levels P1: Soil: rice husk: cocopeat (2:1:1), P2: Soil: rice husk: cow manure (2:1:1), P3: Soil: cocopeat: cow manure (2:1:1), P4: Soil: rice husk: cocopeat: cow manure (2:1:1:1) on the growth and yield of shallots. There were 16 treatment combinations with 3 replications (48 experimental units, 96 polybags). Quantitative data (plant height, number of leaves/tillers, root length, fresh weight/dry weight of bulbs) were analyzed using ANOVA and further tested using DMRT at a 5% significance level. The research results showed that a mycorrhizal fertilizer dose of 20 g (M3) gave the best effect on plant height parameters at 2 and 3 WAT (Weeks After Transplanting), as well as the number of leaves at 2, 3, and 5 WAT.
