SHINKO PLANTECH 2025 ispublished: pub subjects: RZ divisions: FK divisions: ProdiKed full_text_status: restricted keywords: Noise intensity, increased blood pressure, industry, manufacture, repeated impulsive noise Tingkat Kebisingan, Peningkatan Tekanan Darah, Industri, Manufaktur, Impulsif Berulang note: Latar Belakang: Peningkatan tekanan darah diakibatkan oleh berbagai faktor risiko, salah satunya adalah kebisingan. Kesimpulan: Hubungan antara tingkat kebisingan ≥ 85 dB dan peningkatan tekanan darah memiliki hubungan yang signifikan. abstract: Background: Increased blood pressure is caused by various risk factors, such as noise. Noise is a physical occupational hazard that acts as a stressor, disrupting hearing, sleep, communication, and daily activities, thereby potentially increasing sympathetic nervous system activity. This study aims to investigate the relationship between noise levels and the increase in blood pressure before and after work at PT. Shinko Plantech, a construction and manufacturing company specializing in pipe and forged steel production. Method: This study used cross sectional study. The study subject were workers of PT. Shinko Plantech, selected by stratified random sampling according to inclusion and exclusion criteria. The inclusion criteria consisted of active workers with a minimum employment duration of one month at PT. Shinko Plantech. Exclusion criteria include workers with history of cardiovascular and kidney disease, diabetes mellitus, and hearing impairment, also those taking medication affecting blood pressure. Data were analyzed with chi-square test, using univariate and bivaraite methods, through SPSS application Result: This study showed 63.3% of workers that were exposed to noise levels ≥ 85 dB, and 66% experienced an increased blood pressure before and after work. Based on analysis, there was a significant association between noise intensity and increased blood pressure (p = 0.048). Other factors, such as age, length of employment, working hours, smoking habits, use of APD (earplug), and body mass index (BMI) were not significant to increased blood pressure before and after work. Conclusion: Noise intensity ≥ 85 dB and increased blood pressure was significantly associated. date: 2025 date_type: published pages: 133 institution: UNIVERSITAS SULTAN AGENG TIRTAYASA department: KEDOKTERAN thesis_type: sarjana thesis_name: sarjana citation: Sabrin, Hafidza (2025) HUBUNGAN TINGKAT KEBISINGAN TERHADAP PENINGKATAN TEKANAN DARAH PADA PEKERJA PT.
