description: This study aims to examine the impact of Information and Communication  Technology (ICT) development on the circulation of e-money and base money in  Indonesia between 2017 and 2022. The background of the research lies in the  digital transformation of the national payment system and shifts in public behavior  regarding payment methods. The method used is panel data regression, covering  34 provinces. The dependent variables are the circulation of e-money and base  money, while the independent variables include BI7DRR (interest rate),Consumer  Price Index (CPI), Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP), and the ICT  Development Index (IP-TIK). The results show that ICT and GRDP have a  significant positive influence on both e-money and base money. Interest rate  positively affects base money but negatively affects e-money, while inflation only  has a significant effect on base money. These findings confirm the important role  of ICT and economic growth in enhancing both digital and traditional payment  systems. However, e-money still serves as a complement rather than a substitute  for base money. The study recommends improving digital financial literacy and  expanding equitable ICT infrastructure to support national financial inclusion.
