Unconventional tin mining activities have caused significant environmental damage, especially on ex-mining land that has not been reclaimed. This research aims to analyze the internal and external conditions of the Belitung Regency Tourism Office through the SWOT Analysis theory approach from Freddy Rangkuti (2014: 19). Researchers use this theory to identify internal and external factors of the organization such as Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats which are then analyzed to create alternative strategies in sustainable tourism development as an effort to transition unconventional post-mining land in Belitung Regency. The research method used is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Researchers determined research informants using purposive techniques and data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The data validity test used Member Check and Triangulation. The results of this study reveal the internal and external factors of the Belitung Regency Tourism Office. On internal factors, the Tourism Office has good cooperation and coordination but is not balanced with the skills and competence of field employees in creating tourist attractions. On external factors, there are problems that hinder the development of sustainable tourism but cooperation with other agencies as well as local communities and the community can be an opportunity to create new tourist destination areas on post-mining land. Researchers recommend alternative strategies for the Belitung Regency Tourism Office, namely prioritizing sustainable tourism development activities and programs on unconventional post-mining land and improving accessibility to tourist attractions including managers of facilities and infrastructure in each unconventional post-mining tourist destination area in Belitung Regency. date: 2025 type: Thesis type: NonPeerReviewed format: text language: en identifier: https://eprints.untirta.ac.id/51401/3/Shafia%20Alma%20Harani_6661210070_02.pdf format: text language: en identifier: https://eprints.untirta.ac.id/51401/4/Shafia%20Alma%20Harani_6661210070_03.pdf format: text language: en identifier: https://eprints.untirta.ac.id/51401/5/Shafia%20Alma%20Harani_6661210070_04.pdf format: text language: en identifier: https://eprints.untirta.ac.id/51401/6/Shafia%20Alma%20Harani_6661210070_05.pdf format: text language: en identifier: https://eprints.untirta.ac.id/51401/7/Shafia%20Alma%20Harani_6661210070_Referensi.pdf format: text language: en identifier: https://eprints.untirta.ac.id/51401/8/Shafia%20Alma%20Harani_6661210070_Lampiran.pdf format: text language: en identifier: https://eprints.untirta.ac.id/51401/17/Shafia%20Alma%20Harani_6661210070_Fulltext.pdf format: text language: en identifier: https://eprints.untirta.ac.id/51401/19/Shafia%20Alma%20Harani_6661210070_01.pdf identifier: Harani, Shafia Alma (2025) STRATEGI DINAS PARIWISATA DALAM PENGEMBANGAN PARIWISATA BERKELANJUTAN SEBAGAI UPAYA TRANSISI LAHAN PASCA TAMBANG INKONVENSIONAL DI KABUPATEN BELITUNG.
