description: This study aims to describe the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) as a process of socialization of students in the perspective of the sociology of education at SMAN 7 Serang City. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive method. Data were obtained through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation with students, facilitator teachers, P5 coordinator team, and student guardians. The results showed that the implementation of P5 at SMAN 7 Serang City functions as a socialization strategy that instills Pancasila values through project-based activities. With Vygotsky's sociocultural theory approach, the implementation of P5 involves the Zone of Proximal Development (ZPD), scaffolding, social interaction, and mediation that strengthen the value internalization process. However, the implementation of P5 still faces challenges such as limited infrastructure, inequality in learner participation, and teacher readiness in implementing a collaborative approach. Nevertheless, P5 makes a real contribution in shaping the character of students who are independent, collaborative, critical, and nationalistic. This study recommends strengthening the role of teachers as facilitators, as well as the need for structural and cultural support in the sustainable implementation of P5.
