"Electrical energy is one energy that cannot be separated from human life today, \r\nhence it is important to have good quality electricity supply starting from its \r\ngeneration. The auxiliary system is a system in a power plant that functions to \r\ngenerate electricity, part of the electricity generated is not sold, but is used by the \r\nplant itself for generating electricity, in contrast to consumer loads that are sent to \r\nthe transmission line. The auxiliary system is susceptible to disturbances that can \r\nhinder the electricity production process, ETAP or Electrical Transient Analyzer is \r\na software that able to do load flow analysis, load flow analysis is a procedure used \r\nin the power system model under certain conditions to calculate important \r\nparameters to analyze the operation of a system. The auxiliary system of unit 1 UBP \r\nSuralaya consists of several equipment such as a 400MW generator that functions \r\nto provide a source to the system, two transformers, namely the Unit Service \r\nTransformer that functions to reduce the voltage nominal from the generator to the \r\nload busbar, the Station Service Transformer that functions to provide the initial \r\nsource. One endeavor to increase the reliability of the electric power system is to \r\napply a bus coupler that connects to another generation unit. This study concluded \r\nthat the auxiliary system of unit 1 UBP Suralaya experienced disruption in its \r\noperation, namely overload on the transformer used, UST or SST, therefore that it \r\nis necessary to do uprating or increase specifications.
