Fisheries. Angling description: Tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) is a freshwater species that has strategic value in supporting national food security, particularly through intensive aquaculture activities. In the context of stock estimation and population growth projections, precise standard length (SL) data is essential as the basis for biological analysis. Unfortunately, conventional approaches to fish length measurement often yield biased data due to the limitations of manual techniques. This study aims to examine the strength of the relationship between truss-based morphometric characteristics and standard length in Nile tilapia, as well as to develop a relevant and applicable predictive model for closed biofloc aquaculture systems. The research was conducted in March 2025 at the Aquaculture Laboratory of Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University, using an experimental method with a total of 30 randomly selected fish individuals measured based on 21 truss parameters through three repetitions. Simple and multivariate linear regression analyses were applied to assess the contribution of each truss character to standard length, with model validation using Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) values. The study results showed that the D4, D3, and C5 characteristics of the posterior body section had a highly significant relationship with standard length, with R² values of 0.8645, 0.8544, and 0.8583, respectively. Meanwhile, the multivariate model with the D character group showed the best predictive performance, with the highest R² value of 0.9026 and the lowest RMSE of 2.0154 mm, confirming the importance of the posterior body structure in linear fish growth. This model is non-invasive, making it highly suitable for implementation in automated and sustainable fish stock monitoring, as well as for seed selection based on morphometric indicators. The implications of this study suggest that truss morphometrics can serve as a reliable predictive tool in precision aquaculture systems; however, further studies are recommended to integrate genetic and environmental factors to refine the resulting model. date: 2025 type: Thesis type: NonPeerReviewed format: text language: id identifier: https://eprints.untirta.ac.id/51338/1/MUHAMMAD%20RAFI%27_4443210078_Fulltext.pdf format: text language: id identifier: https://eprints.untirta.ac.id/51338/3/MUHAMMAD%20RAFI%27_4443210078_01.pdf format: text language: id identifier: https://eprints.untirta.ac.id/51338/4/MUHAMMAD%20RAFI%27_4443210078_02.pdf format: text language: id identifier: https://eprints.untirta.ac.id/51338/5/MUHAMMAD%20RAFI%27_4443210078_03.pdf format: text language: id identifier: https://eprints.untirta.ac.id/51338/6/MUHAMMAD%20RAFI%27_4443210078_04.pdf format: text language: id identifier: https://eprints.untirta.ac.id/51338/7/MUHAMMAD%20RAFI%27_4443210078_05.pdf format: text language: id identifier: https://eprints.untirta.ac.id/51338/8/MUHAMMAD%20RAFI%27_4443210078_Ref.pdf format: text language: en identifier: https://eprints.untirta.ac.id/51338/17/MUHAMMAD%20RAFI%27_4443210078_Lamp.pdf identifier: RAFI', MUHAMMAD (2025) PENDUGAAN PANJANG BAKU IKAN NILA (Oreochromis niloticus) BERBASIS Truss Morphometrics UNTUK SIMULASI STOK PERAIRAN TERKENDALI.
