Laborers or workers, who exist in large numbers and serve as drivers of economic life as well as a plentiful resource, are not matched by adequate employment opportunities or the availability of sufficient jobs. Referring to Law Number 18 of 2017 concerning the Protection of Indonesian Migrant Workers (PMI), one of the rights of PMI is to receive legal assistance, and each PMI is also obliged to follow procedures and meet the established requirements. The issues addressed in this study are: first, what legal protection is provided by the Indonesian government in the case of migrant worker Parti Liyani in Singapore? Second, does Indonesia implement protection for migrant workers in accordance with the International Convention on the Protection of the Rights of All Migrant Workers and Members of Their Families (1990)? The author conducts an in-depth analysis using normative legal research methods. The research specification used is descriptive-analytical. The data sources consist of secondary data, including primary legal materials, secondary legal materials, and tertiary legal materials. Data collection techniques involve literature studies and analysis. The data in this study is analyzed qualitatively by describing or elaborating on the subject or object of the research. The results of the study can be summarized as follows: first, the UN Convention on the Protection of the Rights of All Migrant Workers and Members of Their Families serves as a key international legal instrument for assessing the government's performance in protecting the rights and welfare of migrant workers and their families. Second, the provisions of the Convention include protection for foreign nationals, whereas, in general, other human rights conventions and covenants tend to focus more on the recognition and protection of the rights of citizens. date: 2025 type: Thesis type: NonPeerReviewed format: text language: id identifier: https://eprints.untirta.ac.id/51306/1/Bagas%20Aji%20Prayitna_1111180213_Fulltext.pdf format: text language: id identifier: https://eprints.untirta.ac.id/51306/2/Bagas%20Aji%20Prayitna_1111180213_01.pdf format: text language: id identifier: https://eprints.untirta.ac.id/51306/3/Bagas%20Aji%20Prayitna_1111180213_02.pdf format: text language: id identifier: https://eprints.untirta.ac.id/51306/4/Bagas%20Aji%20Prayitna_1111180213_03.pdf format: text language: id identifier: https://eprints.untirta.ac.id/51306/5/Bagas%20Aji%20Prayitna_1111180213_04.pdf format: text language: id identifier: https://eprints.untirta.ac.id/51306/6/Bagas%20Aji%20Prayitna_1111180213_05.pdf format: text language: id identifier: https://eprints.untirta.ac.id/51306/7/Bagas%20Aji%20Prayitna_1111180213_Ref.pdf identifier: PRAYITNA, BAGAS AJI (2025) TINDAKAN PEMBERIAN BANTUAN HUKUM TERHADAP PEKERJA MIGRAN BERDASARKAN INTERNATIONAL CONVENTION ON THE PROTECTION OF THE RIGHTS OF ALL MIGRANT WORKERS AND MEMBERS OF THEIR FAMILIES 1990 (STUDI KASUS : PEKERJA MIGRAN PARTI LIYANI DI SINGAPURA).
