High schools subject: LT Textbooks description: The learning of chemistry that integrates the principles of green and sustainable chemistry is still relatively low, and the chemistry learning materials still do not adequately utilize the topic of carbon footprint by employing a socio-scientific issues learning approach. The aim of this research is to develop, assess the feasibility, and understand the students' responses to a socio-scientific issues-based e-module on green and sustainable chemistry regarding the carbon footprint topic in colloid material. The method in this study uses a Research and Development design with the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implement, Evaluation). Data collection techniques were carried out through validity testing and limited trials. Validity testing was conducted to ascertain the feasibility using Aiken V index of 0.78 for the content and media of the e-module validated by 6 validators. The limited trial aimed to understand the students responses using a sample of 1 class of 11th-grade high school students comprising 30 participants. The validity results are stated to be valid with an average V value of the material aspect of 0.88 and the media aspect of 0.87, as well as the results of a limited trial with student responses of 93%, categorized as very good.
