description: This paper aims to understand the process of social recognition of Salafi Jamaah as a religious minority group in Rocek Village. The main focus is how social acceptance is formed in majority-minority relations at the local level. The theory used is Axel Honneth's theory of recognition, which views recognition as a fundamental prerequisite for self-identity formation through three main dimensions: love, law, and solidarity. The research method uses a qualitative approach with Creswell's phenomenological approach. The results showed that: First, the recognition of Salafi congregation is realized through intensive and sustainable social interaction between local residents and Salafi groups, which presents social capital as a bridge between religious identities. Second, all dimensions of recognition in Honneth's theory seem to be fulfilled, ranging from affective relations in the realm of daily life, legal recognition in the village social structure, to appreciation of the collective contribution of Salafi Jamaah. Third, recognition in this context is not merely normatively interpreted, but grows as a contextualized social practice, departing from negotiation, adaptation, and active involvement in shared life. Thus, this research confirms that recognition can be a pathway to active acceptance and social cohesion in a plural society in a active acceptance and social cohesion in a religiously plural society through the capital that comes from the intensity of social interactions, the religious through capital sourced from the intensity of social interaction, along with tangible economic contributions in the lives of citizens.
