The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques in this research used interview, observation and documentation techniques. The results of this research show that the principal, in carrying out his managerial role at the school, plans, organizes, implements and supervises the driving school program involving the school community to work together. Supporting factors for school principals in improving the quality of education in driving schools are teachers being able to adapt to changes in the independent curriculum, support from available facilities and infrastructure, the implementation of transparent, accountable and efficient financing management, as well as the availability of expert trainers in driving schools. The inhibiting factors are uncomfortable classroom conditions, lack of updating of learning media to support learning in the independent curriculum, and a lack of supplies of the main learning resources, namely material books.
