description: The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the application of guided   inquiry learning models assisted by practicum on students' science process skills   on the material of elasticity and Hooke's law. This study was conducted in one of   the schools in Lebak Regency. With a quasi-experimental design with a   nonequivalent control group design type. Sampling was carried out using a   purposive sampling technique, namely students of class XI Phase F1 as the   experimental class and XI Phase F2 as the control class, each of which consisted   of 30 students. The results of the Mann-Whitney test showed that there was an effect   of the use of guided inquiry models assisted by practicum. In addition, the N-gain   score in the experimental class was in the moderate category and higher than the   control class which was also included in the same category. This shows that the   guided inquiry model assisted by practicum can improve students' science process   skills. The results of the average percentage on the observation sheet for students'   science process skills showed that the experimental class was included in the very   good category while the control class was in the good category.
