"Employee performance is an important indicator in assessing\r\norganizational effectiveness, but it is often affected by work pressures such as\r\nworkload and role conflict. In the context of the Cilegon Resort Police, the limited\r\nnumber of personnel has resulted in the delegation of excessive tasks to employees,\r\nwhich has the potential to cause stress and decreased performance. In addition,\r\nrole conflict arises from role incongruence and overlapping directives, increasing\r\nthe risk of disrupting work effectiveness. Perceived Organizational Support (POS)\r\nis considered as a factor that can reduce the negative impact of workload and role\r\nconflict on employee performance.\r\nThis study aims to examine the effect of role conflict and workload on\r\nemployee performance, as well as the moderating role of POS in the relationship.\r\nThis study uses a quantitative approach with an explanatory design. Data were\r\ncollected through questionnaires from 106 members of Bhabinkamtibmas Cilegon\r\nPolice. Data analysis was carried out using the Partial Least Squares Structural\r\nEquation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method.\r\nThe results showed that role conflict has a positive and insignificant effect\r\non employee performance, while workload has a negative but insignificant effect.\r\nIn addition, POS is proven to positively and significantly moderate the effect of\r\nworkload on performance, but is not significant in moderating the relationship\r\nbetween role conflict and performance. The conclusions of this study emphasize the\r\nimportance of strengthening tangible organizational support in helping employees\r\nmanage workload more effectively. The researcher recommends that police\r\nmanagement improve communication, supervision, and support facilities so that\r\nemployees can optimize their roles in a balanced and productive manner."^^ .
