This method was chosen because the process is fast, efficient, and environmentally friendly. C-Dots characterization was carried out using a UV-Vis Spectrophotometer and Photoluminescence (PL) to analyze its optical properties and interactions with Fe³⁺ ions. The UV-Vis Spectrophotometer test was carried out in the wavelength range of 245-800 nm. The results showed that C-Dots had an absorbance peak of 4,379 at a wavelength of 251 nm. After the addition of Fe³⁺ ions, the absorbance peak shifted to 4,120 at a wavelength of 245, indicating an interaction between C-Dots and Fe³⁺ ions.
