description: This research aims to understand how intrapersonal communication plays a role in the decision-making process of rural adolescents who choose to marry at a young age. The study was conducted in Sukajadi Village, Carita District, Pandeglang Regency, Banten Province, by focusing on two young women who married early as key informants, along with one parent as a supporting informant. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method and applied the constructivist paradigm to deeply explore their personal experiences. Data collection was carried out through semi-structured interviews and documentation. The findings show that early marriage decisions among rural adolescents are not only supported by external factors such as social norms and family background, but also by internal processes that occur within themselves. These include sensation, perception, memory, and thinking, which are essential components of intrapersonal communication. Through these elements, individuals internally reflect and evaluate their choices before making important life decisions. This study emphasizes that understanding intrapersonal communication can provide valuable insights into how rural youth navigate complex decisions like early marriage.
