High schools subject: QA Mathematics description: The aim of this research is to determine the effect of the adversity quotient on students' mathematical problem solving abilities. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 17 Kota Serang class VII. The research subjects consisted of 60 class VII students who were chosen randomly. This research uses a quantitative type of research. The instruments used in this research were a written mathematical problem solving test consisting of five description questions and an adversity quotient questionnaire consisting of twenty statements. The data analysis used is the linearity test, regression significance test, and simple regression.
