High schools subject: QA Mathematics description: This research is motivated by the low numeracy skills of students in mathematics learning. The lack of optimal and interactive use of learning media has contributed to this issue. Therefore, this study aims to determine whether students who use Canva-based interactive learning media have better numeracy improvement compared to those who do not use such media. This study is a quantitative research using a quasi-experimental method with a nonequivalent control group design. The population in this study consists of eighth-grade students at SMPN 1 Banjar, with two sample classes: Class VIII E as the experimental class and Class VIII F as the control class. The samples were selected using purposive sampling. The instrument used was a numeracy skill test administered during the pretest and posttest. Based on the research results, the average posttest score in the experimental class was higher than that of the control class, namely 12,40 and 9,87. Respectively. Furthermore, the results of the independent sample t-test showed a significance value of 0,002. This indicates a significant difference in numeracy skills between the two classes, as the Sig. (2-tailed) value is < 0,05.
